“My childhood had no screens—just the jangling stories inside jewelry boxes,” the founder often says. Growing up in the family shop, she learned about art through the craftsmen: the way old jewelers bent silver with chisels, the spark in a customer’s eyes when they tried on a brooch, even old magazine clippings of Elizabeth Taylor on red carpets. Those bits and pieces became sketches, then designs, taking shape under the workshop lights. While others chased trends, she’d dig through the attic for yellowed design sketches—Art Nouveau’s flowing curves, Art Deco’s sharp angles, 1950s gold leaf glam. To her, these weren’t “outdated”—they were “timeless codes,” refined by years.
